“When beginning the adoption process, we were extremely overwhelmed by both the process and the multiple avenues we could take. Because adoption can be a lengthy process, we wanted to be sure we were working with compassionate and honest individuals and organizations. That is when we found Rebecca, and we are so glad we did! She guided us through the home study process, breaking it down step by step until the process was complete. We were initially impressed by how diligent and organized she is, which helped us finalize our home study in a very timely manner. Rebecca is extremely responsive and works hard to get all the information she needs to complete the home study. We could always tell that she worked very hard on our behalf. We also realized working with Rebecca that the home study is not near as intimidating as it seemed on the front end. She has also always been very compassionate and honest with us. Once the home study was complete, the waiting began, which can be an emotionally difficult time. We struggled with when to prepare and how much to prepare. Because this was our first adoption experience, we had a lot of questions along the way. Rebecca always answered our questions, responded quickly, and helped us with setting our expectations appropriately. Rebecca is extremely compassionate and has a great deal of integrity. Through this process, we built such strong relationships that we feel like we have a new friend in Rebecca. We could not have asked for a better adoption experience and are now the proud parents of a 5 month old bundle of joy.
